YOUR IMPACT

As a Billing Representative at OpenText, you play a crucial role in ensuring excellence in billing operations within the Order to Cash function.

You'll leverage your expertise in billing processes and third-party portal infrastructure to deliver efficient payment solutions and enhance customer experience.

Through collaboration and innovation, you'll drive process improvements and automation initiatives, contributing to the success of our Billing Operations team and the organization as a whole.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

Manage customer requests related to portals, including vendor onboarding and processing portal trading relationships.
Refine and document endtoend processes, identifying efficiencies for portal registrations and driving system and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate records for portal customers and resolve escalations.
Partner with Sales and Collections to address billing and collections issues, ensuring accurate resolution to achieve targets.
Act as a mentor, sharing expertise and providing guidance to Billing Operations staff.
Work independently on complex assignments, demonstrating initiative and creativity in problemsolving.
Utilize exceptional communication skills to interact with internal groups and customers, effectively coordinating and influencing outcomes.
Deliver highquality guidance against challenging timelines, demonstrating attention to detail and analytical ability.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in software billing, preferably in the software services or hightech industry.
Extensive experience managing relationships with thirdparty portal infrastructure (e.g., Ariba, Tungsten, Coupa).
Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel, Macro, Power BI, and database management.
Strong understanding of invoicing and collections processes, with the ability to negotiate complex customer agreements.
Customerfocused mindset with problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of various lines of business, including Professional Services delivery, Cloud hosting operations, and Software Licensing.
Demonstrated leadership attributes, including mentorship, teamwork, and change management.
Ability to work independently on complex assignments, resolving problems and developing recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong business acumen and financial proficiency, with experience in contract negotiation and commercial language.
