Centro Legal Works Inc. is a search house located in downtown Toronto. We specialize in corporate search and registration services catered to legal, financial, and business professionals. Our specialties include Corporate Record Searches, Corporate filings, Business Registrations, Court Records & Due Diligence and Document Legalizations.


Primary Activities:


  • Completing routine corporate law clerk matters relating to incorporations, initial notices, notices of change and other various OBCA article filings.
  • Conducting various due diligence searches including corporate searches, PPSA, Bank Act, Litigation, Bankruptcy and Writs of Executions in Ontario and across Canada.
  • Preparation and review of various types of registrations under the PPSA.
  • Review results and prepare summary reports for Superior Court and other due diligence searches.
  • Communicate with various registries and agents across Canada for due diligence search matters.
  • Communicate and assist clients with search and registration matters.
  • General office and administrative duties as required, including scanning, document filing and assisting in other areas of the business as required.

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge:


  • Law Clerk, Legal Assistant or related legal Diploma or Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience in a search house, law firm, or related legal position.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the OBCA, CBCA, PPSA, Superior Courts, the Ontario Business Registry and eCore.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize the workload to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
  • A selfstarter who can work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Embrace new technology with the goal of improving internal processes.
  • Enthusiastic individual who thrives both independently and in a team environment.
