Continuous Improvement Technician
We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician.

About the position

Develop and optimize the tools necessary to increase the efficiency of the various production sectors;
Participate in the development of systems, various computer tools and processes;
Recommend and provide realistic and feasible solutions, taking into account deadlines, material, monetary and other restrictions;
Prepare, develop, facilitate and implement workshops to promote valueadded activities in the processes, using the various tools for continuous improvement;
Research new practices in the industry that could be beneficial to the company;
Master our production software;
Be the instigator and take charge of the various projects of improvement and optimization of the production;
Develop work instructions for different positions/processes related to production;
Carry out all other related tasks that may pertain to the Continuous Improvement Technician position.

Qualifications

DEC in Industrial Engineering or work experience related to responsibilities
Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques (Lean, Kanban, Kaizen, 5S)
Bilingualism French/English is an asset
3 to 5 years of experience
Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to adapt to different stakeholders;
Enjoy teamwork and interpersonal relations as much as development and analysis work;
Ability to bring teams together towards a positive and facilitative implementation of change;
Ability to manage more than one file at a time;
Comfortable working in a context where you will be the sole technical expert on your project.
