KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Completes appraisals and negotiate with insurance company's on proper repair methods and pricing
  • Submit supplement requests to appraisers for approval including photos, service invoices, part invoices and the supplement estimate
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance appraisers and adjusters
  • Monitors daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding records
  • Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed
  • Handles customer concerns immediately and accordingly to shop procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 3 years direct experience either appraising automobile physical damages or working within an imaging desk role
  • Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
  • Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex electronic imaging/estimating system
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the collision industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide superior customer service

  • Estimating (moderate/complex damages): 3 years (required)
  • Mitchell Connect/Audatex: 3 years (required)
