PAL Technical Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for an
Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Production Manager
to join our team in Winnipeg, MB**.
Qualifications:
- Coach, lead, mentor team members
- Ability to be actively involved with change management
- Manage assigned issues in PAL'S Safety Management System
- Conduct regularly schedule meetings with team
- Highly effective communicator
- Plan and analyze the scope and progress of projects, liaison with customers, and assist bids for HMV checks
- Supervise heavy maintenance team
- Ensure heavy maintenance delivery objectives are achieved
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Completion of an AME course approved by Transport Canada preferred
- 35 years' experience on aircraft with an air carrier or AMO preferred
- Must have thorough knowledge of the appropriate parts of the air carrier operating certificate, operation specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for proper performance of duties
- Ability to plan and organize the work processes and work packages in the shop environment to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency of the production team.
- Ability to manage people and deal with employee relation issues, including direction and guidance to staff on fulfilling their job duties, as well as deal with disciplinary situations.
- Ability to deal with and work in pressure situations and under timeline constraints both independently and in a team environment
