    We are looking for an experienced IT Support, Systems Administrator to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Director of IT the successful candidate will be provide IT support for all users across the division and work alongside the systems administration team.

    This role will be based from our Head Office in Brossard, Montreal QC. This is an on-site position.

    Job Overview:

    This position assists the Director of IT and systems administration team in supporting in all technical areas for internal users. Providing level 2-3 technical support and solutions. This role requires a personable and capable professional who can expect to have regular interactions with end users and will deliver timely solutions for their day-to-day support needs.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide level 2-3 technical support to internal users
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Configure, install and maintain computer systems and peripherals
  • Manage and track incidents and requests in the ticketing system
  • Participate in projects to improve and deploy new technologies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues
  • Significant contribution to cybersecurity (verification of logs and other improvement actions)
  • Other duties as assigned by the leader
  • Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Requires a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Computer Science
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT including 4 years of experience as a level 2-3 IT Technician
  • Required Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Networking knowledge such as (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, etc.)
  • Server administration knowledge (Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux)
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware)
  • Experience in managing the Fortinet Suite
  • Comfortable with managing Office 365, Exchange 365, Microsoft Azure and AWS products
