    Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Senior ClaimsAdvisor Property and/or Auto CAT to join our team Reporting to theManager, National Catastrophe Claims, you will be responsible for handlingand adjusting moderate to high complex claims.

    The Senior Claims AdvisorProperty and/or Auto CAT will provide professional and respectful customerservice, achieve optimal customer satisfaction, provide guidance to ClaimsAssistants.

    and will work part of the National Catastrophe Claims team tosuccessfully meet ACG and Claim Department performance requirements.


    Accountabilities:


    Investigates, negotiates and settles claims of medium – highcomplexity by telephone and written correspondenceInterprets insurance policy wordings, determines policy coverages andreservesDocument claim files with notes, evaluations and decision makingprocessEnsures prompt and equitable settlement of medium- high complexityclaims by following prescribed and recommended processes.

    Process paymentswithin established authority levels.

    Negotiates with insureds, claimants and insurersParticipate in the processes to identify, recommend and implementappropriate changes/enhancements to claim policies, practices, proceduresand continuous improvement initiatives as requested by managerMeet the productivity, customer service goals and quality objectivesspecified for National Claims and disciplineCommunicate empathetically with customers and help them through theirclaim process in a fast, fair, and easy manner.

    Negotiate claim settlementswith customers in accordance with business unit standardmethodologies.


    Participate in Queue Responsibility Qualifications:
    3-5 years experience in handling medium to large loss complexresidential property claims.
    Post secondary education, diploma or certificationCIP Designation, or currently enrolled.
    Experience in adjusting single peril auto claims.
    IICRC Certification, or enrollment.
    HAAG Certification, or enrollment.
    Ability to review, critique, and negotiate reconstructionestimatesProficient with Symbility and or Xactimate.
    Stratum 1 Information Processing Capability.
    The ability to handle high volume of claims – 125+/- pending.
