Lead Finisher - (Day Shift with Weekends Available) - Experienced
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
_(including, but not limited to)_
- Prime/stain/paint product in high detail to ensure quality products.
- Manage paint and stain supply inventory and ensure items are stored in a safe manner.
- Organize and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Manage tools and equipment required for job completion.
- Take ownership of parts to ensure product is free of defects.
- Communicate effectively with production and management for issues, deficiencies, status, and completion.
- Manages and dispose of scrap material and offcuts in appropriate designated area.
- Adhere to company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and process workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Able to operate hand/power tools (sanding block, power sander, etc.)
- Experienced using a paint gun and working in paint booth.
- Possess good handeye coordination.
- Has a keen eye for quality, able to detect flaws, errors, and defects.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Able to understand and follow established safety and environmental practices.
- Minimum 10 years experience in millwork finishing required.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- finishing (millwork): 10 years (required)
