Position Overview:

As a Junior Project Manager at Marks, you will collaborate with the Project Management team under the guidance of the Team Lead.

You will work closely with the Accounts team, fellow Project Managers, Operations, and Studio to ensure seamless project delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects within scope, budget, and timelines, overseeing all project aspects, and maintaining high-quality standards. Projects will be packaging design for various different clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and projects, flagging any scope or budget deviations.
  • Follow Marks' established workflow and processes.
  • Monitor project progress, handle issues, document critical actions, decisions, and risks.
  • Collaborate with the Scheduler to ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Maintain a detailed project plan and tracker, updating comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of internal team operations and processes.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts at the client and internal studio levels.
  • Manage and oversee projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • Perform/support other related duties as assigned (e.g., preparing for photoshoots, project billing).

Project-Specific Responsibilities:


  • Validate mandatory project information before kickoff.
  • Procure necessary assets for studio, ensuring flexible solutions to production roadblocks.
  • Write up work orders and create project tasks using project management tools.
  • Act as a liaison between creative team, external partners, and account team.
  • Attend briefings, technical reviews, and postmortem meetings.
  • Provide final rounds of QA on all assets before final delivery.

Prerequisites:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Management, Design, or Marketing/Business Administration.
  • 13 years of project management experience, preferably in packaging or marketing communications (Internship experience accepted).
  • Strong interest in brand stewardship and project management, with a solid understanding of packaging design requirements.
  • Familiarity with Flexo, Litho, and Gravure printing processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized selfstarter with strong prioritization and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and experience with various project management tools.
  • Collaborative and solutionfocused personality.

Experience:
Required
