You as Tax Manager
will:

Be responsible for the preparation and timely filing of all corporate income tax returns and related filings for Canada, in a highly complex corporate structure.
Prepare the annual consolidated tax provision (ASPE).
Oversee indirect tax compliance and reporting.
Liaise with joint venture partners, limited partners, and other stakeholders on all tax related matters.
Assist with SR&ED tax filings.
Manage and coordinate tax audits.
Manage tax remittances.
Perform tax research for new and proposed transactions.
Be responsible for the tax planning and related execution of corporate reorganizations.
Participate in special projects, which may involve activities such as international tax research and compliance, due diligence work, publicprivate partnership transactions, etc.
Keep current on all tax legislation and administrative changes and effectively communicate any impact to the organization.

Is this the right role for you?

You hold a CPA designation.
You have at least 3 years of experience with Canadian corporate compliance and tax planning.
You have completed or are in the process of completing the CICA/CICPA indepth tax course.
You have experience managing tax compliance and reporting processes.
You have a strong accounting background, with experience in ASPE.
You have experience managing relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
You possess strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Taxprep.
You are a wellorganized, proactive and detailoriented individual able to selfmanage and work in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
You are a highly technical individual that has strong attention to detail.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
