The Ministry of Forests is responsible for the stewardship of provincial Crown land and ensures the sustainable management of forest, wildlife, water and other land-based resources.
To create digital, graphic and descriptive products to support resource planning through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in geographic information systems or a Diploma in the Natural Resource field AND 1 year work experience.
- Experience capturing, converting, creating, editing and maintaining digital information in a GIS environment.
- Experience creating a variety of digital, geographical and descriptive products including thematic maps, terrain models and associated descriptive statistics.

This is a temporary opportunity until September 1, 2023.
