Description
One of our clients is looking for a highly organized and experienced Carpenter with at least two years of experience to join our clients' company.
The Carpenter will be responsible for various tasks such as constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
Take accurate measurements and perform layout work according to plans.
Proficient in cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding. Repair or replace damaged structures as needed.
Perform finishing work including sanding, staining, varnishing, and painting.
Keep tools and equipment in good condition and ensure they are properly maintained.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience working as a Carpenter.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and working in various weather conditions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to accurately read blueprints and perform layout work.
Certification in Carpentry or related fields.
Additional experience in other construction trades is a plus.
