As a General Manager you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of people.
  • Manage operations and finances of business.
  • Recruit and train new hires on business practices.
  • Drive development of employees.
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained.
  • Develop and manage a team of skilled professionals.
  • Develop, implement and monitor the operational plans for our customer portfolio.
  • Work on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people.
  • Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the location budget and total oversight of the location.

Qualifications:


  • Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industry.
  • At least 35 years of ramp handling and strong operations experience.
  • Well versed in the ramp aircraft operations.
  • Indepth communication, management and demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets.
  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Work/Excel.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good decision making and time management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with Local, Sales and Federal government agencies including suppliers.
  • Must have the right to live and work in CANADA.
  • Management and Customer Service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting.
  • Strong communications skills.
