Description
We are seeking a skilled Shingler to join our team. As a Shingler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs using various materials and techniques.


Responsibilities:


  • Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific roof dimensions
  • Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal panels
  • Repair damaged or worn roofs using appropriate tools and materials
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Clean up job sites after completing work, there will be labourers provided to help with this.
  • Reliable transportation or willingness to transit to the job site is an absolute job requirement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Shingler or similar role
  • Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Job Types:

Contract length: 5-6 months


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- roofing: 1 year (preferred)
