Composed of a dynamic and passionate team, we are a growing Canadian company. We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable clerk.

THE FUNCTION


The incumbent will follow up on cash receipts and process customer requests related to accounts receivable, from their verification to the reconciliation of their payment.

He will be the primarily responsible for the collection of invoices for all projects and the parts department, as well as providing support for various administrative tasks and month-end and accounts receivable reconciliations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow up on customer payments
  • Update cash receipts in the system in real time
  • Preparation of deposits
  • Balancing credit card payments
  • Report collection problems to the supervisor
  • Creating customers in P2
  • Manage account openings
  • Prepare collection letters when required
  • Issue credit to customers when approved
  • Respond to customer needs (send invoice(s), request proof of delivery, follow up on pending credit, etc.).
  • Complete certain documents at the request of our customers (credit references, direct deposit documents)
  • Send account statements to customers at the beginning of each month

KEY INDICATORS
The Accounts Receivable Clerk's contribution to Enviroair Industries' objectives is assessed using the following key indicators:

  • Response times to customer requests
  • Collection amount beyond 120 days
  • Number of customers with uptodate data in the system
  • Collect payments in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Diploma or technical diploma in administration or office automation
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role

SKILLS

  • Bilingual, so excellent command of English and French (spoken and written)
  • Strong writing skills in both languages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Full time (weekdays)
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
