Job Summary
The Guest Service Manager is a part-time, year-round position spending 90% of the time on the floor and 10% in the office.
Responsibilities:

Peak Hour Responsibilities:_ - Responsible for the overall performance of the Serving and Snack Shack staff
- Maintain the flow of traffic, including open menus and communication with expo/kitchen
- Fostering connections with guests and actively engaging in table touching is a top priority
- Ensure cleanliness of all guestfacing restaurant spaces, including but not limited to Acorn Patio, Solarium, Courtyard, Upper Deck, Main Dining Room, and Snack Shack
- Closing manager on duty

Peak Hour Responsibilities:

- Responsible for weekly and monthly inventory count of Snack Shack nonalcoholic and food items
- Communicate with associated parties on needed supplies for Snack Shack
- Communicate with the Events Coordinator and Snack Shack employees regarding group bookings or tournament needs, obtaining any vouchers
- Submit schedule requests to the assistant of Food & Beverage
- Responsible for onboarding and training of all Serving Staff
- Responsible for the ongoing performance of all serving staff
- Other duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assume the Guest Services Manager's responsibilities in their absence ensuring smooth operations and adherence to established procedures.
- Assist in covering other areas during peak times or staff shortages.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by higher management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of successful staff training and development
- Knowledge of POS, and other restaurant software is considered an asset
- Efficiency with Google Work Suite considered an asset
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Smart Serve and Food Handlers Certifications required
