We are hiring for a seasonal guest services position at The Clockmaker's Inn

The Clockmaker's Inn is a beautiful historic Victorian Bed & Breakfast located in Windsor, Nova Scotia.

Our Inn is looking for a pleasant and motivated applicant to assist with daily tasks during our busy summer season.

Responsibilities:

• Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean rooms after checkout
• Assist with laundry washing, folding, and putting away
• Greet guests upon arrival and make them feel welcomed
• Take care of checkouts and payment
• Assist with breakfast service (May include serving guests, brewing coffee, loading, and unloading dishwashers)
• Work with staff to update social media pages with photos, upcoming promotions or guest reviews

Our ideal employee would:

• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well unsupervised.
• Work well with other staff
• Ability to interact positively with Inn guests.
• Good oral and written communication.
• High housekeeping standards
• An interest or education in Tourism or Hotel Guest Services is an asset
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office and ability to be trained on an online booking program
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an asset but not mandatory

Starting rate:
$15.20/hr plus tips
