Position Summary

The position below describes the responsibilities of an individual who will contribute to the Paragon team environment primarily in the area of Marketing.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will also take direction from the Marketing & Event Specialist.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research support for corporate and stakeholder messaging for driving an increased volume of test takers for CAEL and CELPIP both in Canada and Abroad.
  • Support implementation of marketing strategies in Canada and abroad through corporatelyowned channels.
  • Support tracking and reporting of key marketing activities for the monthly marketing report.
  • Using tools such as Mailchimp, WordPress, and Salesforce to analyze behaviours and better understand testtakers and stakeholders alike.
  • Inventory monitoring and marketing collateral preparation for conferences and other events in Canada and abroad.
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web).
  • Report on weekly and monthly marketing KPIs.
  • Plan and coordinate Webinar events.
  • Assist with creating and designing print and digital materials.
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed.
Desired Qualifications

  • A recent graduate with an undergraduate degree.
  • Strong communication skills and interest in development of written corporate formal and informal communications.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and MailChimp is a plus
  • Ability to pay careful attention to detail, to work effectively within a team environment, to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, selfstarting and organizational skills.
  • Ability to function in Chinese or Portuguese orally and in writing would be an asset.
  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
