Associate Manager, Data - Toronto, Canada - Johnson & Johnson
Description
Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for an Associate Manager, Data & Analytics Infrastructure located in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daytoday operations of the organization's data assets, including the intake, integration, and management of IQVIA, CRM and Patient Support Program data.
- Build standards of practice and procedures for operational processes including, ETL, validation, reference data, business rules and definitions.
- Regularly monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and integrity of enterprise data assets and identify potential impact on downstream analysis.
- Maintain a single, trusted reference source for all relevant master data and data elements.
- Serve as point of contact for external vendors and internal partners to coordinate and prioritize activities.
- Organize and maintain catalog of all enterprise data assets.
- Collaborate with DAC team members in using advanced analytics tools and techniques to develop insights from a variety of disparate data sets.
- Actively cultivate strong, positive, internal partnerships with multifunctional business
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative field, or equivalent technical experience.
Experienced in data warehousing and data visualization tools; Amazon Redshift, DataIKU, Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau.
SQL skills; able to query and manipulate relational databases
Strong analytical skills:
you are excited about working with data, can quickly structure analyses to answer key business questions to drive decision-making, and have perspectives on building the right data architecture.
Be science and data driven while at the same time, be creative and flexible in strategic thinking and problem solving.
Strong communication and presentation skills including understanding and presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
Good project management skills with ability to focus on results-focused work, prioritize multiple demands and engage with cross-functional stakeholders and small remote teams.
Preferred:
Master's or advanced degree.
Minimum 4+ years of professional work experience in data management and analytics.
Prior experience in programming languages such as Python or R.
Knowledge and experience with pharma industry syndicated data (IQVIA) and patient support program data
