Position Overview:


Join the Finning Canada family We are currently seeking Hydraulic Hose Press Operator (Class A) to support our busy operations in Edmonton.

As the Hydraulic Hose Press Operator, you are responsible for a variety of duties in the hose room environment.

Duties include, assembling hoses in a customer facing and assembly line environment, hose room organization and cleanliness, inventory management and cycle counting.

Job Description:


  • Rebuilding and manufacturing hydraulic hoses to produce a high quality product
  • Maintain and coordinate the hydraulic hose operation
  • Other duties as required

NOTE

  • Role located in Edmonton
  • Shift is a 7 x 7 day/night rotation (may be required
  • Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset
  • Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
  • Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and barcoding technology would be an asset
  • A strong commitment to safety is imperative
