Calling all individuals who love to work with a diverse portfolio of companies on their R&D tax credits
Do you believe that a great SR&ED consultant should leave no stone unturned to uncover the R&D potential in a company? Do you love getting to know the businesses of all shapes and sizes that you work with and see how their R&D projects evolve? How passionate are you about being a key part of one of the programs that shape Canada's innovation ecosystem?

In this role, you'll collaborate with dozens of clients on writing their SR&ED technical reports.

You'll get to know each client and find ways to proactively help them throughout the year to build up their SR&ED activity and traceability.

You'll be part of a team of experienced specialists, in a premier firm that's had a 17 year successful track record helping clients grow.

You will report to the Director of Technical Services.


Responsibilities

  • Elicitation of information from clients to Identify eligible R&D activities (even if they didn't know it was "SREDable")
  • Collect, organize and write detailed technical documents from information provided by clients (onsite and remotely)
  • Develop and craft technical, narrative and financial components of SR&ED claims & other grants
  • Provide support in the case of claim reviews and audits
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with clients throughout the year on their SR&ED activity and provide valuable advice and feedback to maximize their claims

Hybrid - In office and remote, with offices located in Toronto and Montreal

To succeed in this role, you need a strong background in technical writing and take pride in the quality of the work you produce.

You must have a strong empathy for clients in order to establish credibility, and deliver a high level of service of value to make their experience unforgettably painless.


  • 3+ years prior training and experience as a SR&ED Consultant, in the IT sector.
  • Skilled in elicitation and interview techniques.
  • Experience in preparing and defending CRA audits.
  • Above average multitasking, and time management skills in a highvolume, fast paced environment
  • Excellent clientfacing spoken and written communication skills
  • Nice to have_
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Grant writing expertise

Interview Process

  • 30minute video conference to assess fit
  • 1hour interview to demonstrate your technical skills (in person in Toronto or Montreal if possible)
  • 1hour in person to meet with other team member(s) for cultural fit
  • 30minute debriefing call with hiring manager

Benefits

Compensation
- $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience
