Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daytoday accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Manage the monthend and yearend close process for multiple companies, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with Controller to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development.
- Assist Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business objectives and decisionmaking.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency enhancements to streamline workflows and optimize resource utilization.
- Stay informed of accounting standards, regulations, and industry developments to ensure adherence to best practices and legal requirements.
- This is an onpremise position, not work from home position.
Qualifications:
- CPA designated.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and control.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse management at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing highperforming teams.
- Detailoriented, organized, and proactive with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) and Microsoft Office Suite.
