    Le Centre de santé Tulattavik de L'Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l'ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.

    Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l'existence d'un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n'existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.

    DÉBUT DE L'EMPLOI : Aussitôt que possible

    FONCTIONS :

    L'agente de relations humaines en dépendances exerce des activités de conception, de consultation, d'actualisation, d'analyse et d'évaluation dans un ou plusieurs programmes sociaux. Il réalise des interventions au plan psychosocial dans une philosophie interdisciplinaire. Il collabore aux différentes étapes de la programmation des activités en dépendances auquel il est assigné et à l'évaluation de la qualité. Il organise et participe à des activités de promotion et de prévention.

    TACHES SPÉCIFIQUES :

    Assurer le suivi individuel, du couple, familial et en co-intervention de clients présentant une problématique de dépendance, avec une priorité accordée aux jeunes ainsi qu'aux parents de jeunes enfants;

    Évaluer les nouveaux cas en utilisant les procédés d'évaluation standardisés;

    Apporter du soutien clinique aux intervenants du CLSC pour les suivis externes et post-traitements;

    Participer à l'élaboration, le développement et l'évaluation des programmes de promotion et de prévention des dépendances;

    Travailler en collaboration avec les divers organismes du milieu;

    Faire la liaison avec le réseau de partenaires en dépendances;

    Participer aux services d'urgence psychosociale 24/7;

    Selon les besoins, remplacement des services psychosociaux dans les communautés ;

    Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes à la demande de son supérieur immédiat.

    Qualifications

    Détenir un diplôme universitaire terminal de premier cycle (BAC) en sciences humaines ou en sciences sociales tel que travail social, criminologie ou psychologie.

    En l'absence de candidature d'agent de relations humaines répondant à l'ensemble des exigences du poste, un candidat possédant une technique dans une discipline appropriée (ex. : technicien en travail social ou éducation spécialisée) pourra être considérée. Si un candidat technicien est retenu, l'échelle salariale applicable sera celle répondant à son niveau de scolarité.

    Connaissances théoriques (universitaires) en toxicomanie serait un atout majeur;

    Connaissance du réseau de services en dépendance ainsi que des outils d'évaluation;

    Posséder une expérience de travail pertinente d'au moins deux (2) années auprès d'une clientèle au prise avec des problèmes de dépendances;

    Un an d'expérience dans un Centre de réadaptation en dépendance sera considérée un atout majeur.

    Bonne connaissance des approches de réduction de méfaits et motivationnelle;

    Expérience de travail en région éloignée serait un atout;

    Bilinguisme essentiel (français et anglais), la connaissance de l'Inuktitut est un atout ;

    Leadership, initiative et autonomie;

    Capacité de travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire et intérêt à partager ses connaissances et expériences avec ses collègues;

    Disponible pour voyager dans les communautés de la côte de l'Ungava, au besoin;

    Avoir un permis de conduire valide;

    Être disponible jour, soir et nuit pour faire la garde psychosociale.

    SALAIRE : Min: $ Max: $ pour 35 heures/sem.

    PRIME D'ÉLOIGNEMENT : $ ou $ par semaine, selon le statut familial

    PRIME DE RETENTION : $ par semaine jusqu'au

    PRIME DE VIE CHÈRE : 74.17 $ par semaine ou plus, selon le statut familial

    The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is located in Kuujjuaq and offers the whole health and social services in the eastern part of Nunavik. Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.

    Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.

    JOB TITLE: Human Relations Officer

    (Addiction key intervener) - Kuujjuaq

    STATUS: Permanent full-time position

    IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Programs – (Social services)

    STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

    FUNCTIONS:

    The human relations officer in addiction, carries out design, consultation, updating, analysis and evaluation activities in one or more social programs. They carry out psychosocial interventions within an interdisciplinary philosophy. They collaborate in the various stages of the programming of the addiction activities to which they are assigned and in the evaluation of quality. They organize and participate in promotion and prevention activities.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES:

    Ensure individual, couple, family and co-intervention follow-up of clients with a problem of dependence, with priority given to young people as well as parents of young children;

    Evaluate incoming cases, using standardized assessment procedures

    Provide clinical support to CLSC interveners for external and post-treatment follow-ups

    Participate in the development and evaluation of programs for the promotion and prevention of addictions

    Coordinate continuity of services between Community Services and Rehabilitation Services;

    Work in collaboration with various organization in the community

    Participate in the 24/7 psychosocial emergency services;

    If needed, replace psychosocial services in different communities;

    Perform all other related duties as requested by his immediate superior.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have a university degree in the humanities or social sciences such as social work, criminology or psychology.

    In the absence of a Human Relations Officer who meets all the requirements of the position, a candidate with a technical background in an appropriate discipline (e.g. social work technician or special education) may be considered. If a technician candidate is selected, the applicable salary range will be that which corresponds to his/her level of education.

    Addiction scholar (university) knowledge would be a major asset;

    Knowledge of the drug and alcohol abuse field and related evaluation processes;

    Have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience with clients presenting alcohol and substance abuse problems;

    One year experience in a addiction rehabilitation center will be considered a major asset

    Be bilingual (French and English), Inuktitut would be an asset;

    Have leadership skills and initiative as well as be able to work independently;

    Be able and willing to work with the multidisciplinary team and share knowledge and experience;

    Capable of travelling as required by the duties.

    Must have a valid driver licence

    Share the 24/7 psychosocial emergency services

    SALARY: Min: $ Max: $ $ for 35 hours

    ISOLATION PREMIUM: $ or $ per week, depending on the family status

    RETENTION PREMIUM: $ per week until October 1st, 2020

    CARGO PREMIUM: 74.17 $ per week or more, depending on the family status
