We are looking for individuals to work as
Cook/Dietary Aide to prepare and serve food to residents in assisted living in our facility.
As a Cook/Dietary Aide you must be capable to prepare and serve food and drinks following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items ensuring the highest quality service and experience for customers.
- Help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently.
- Ensure proper food handling, and sanitation.
- Set up tables in dining area with attention to cleanliness and following resident's dietary needs.
- Prepare and deliver food/drinks using proper food handling and good sanitary conditions under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
- Prepare carts to deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
- Clear dining areas, collect plates, glasses, wash dishes, and silverware.
- Clean food stations and stock ingredients.
Requirements:
- Able to follow instructions.
- Friendly with good communication skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Safe Food Handler's Certificate (provided by the health unit without charge).
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary:
$22.03-$24.99 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
