Aquiform is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team


Position Summary:


  • The Human Resources Manager is a crucial role in our businesses, tasked with driving a wide range of HR initiatives across our portfolio of businesses. The HR Business Manager must Lead by example and possess the ability to build deep trust and credibility with leadership and influence at all levels of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Advisor: Act as a strategic advisor and collaborator to leadership teams across the portfolio in all areas such as policy interpretation, employee relations, performance management, health and safety and administration etc. Provides input into design, development and implementation of various departmental programs and services in partnership with leadership

People engagement: Identify people needs and execute changes where necessary to ensure organizational effectiveness

Culture Catalyst: Act as a positive cultural change agent by developing and executing HR strategy

Recruitment: Full cycle recruiting for management roles, onboarding and training. Assisting hiring managers in the recruitment process and offer management. Actively socialize opportunities and promote company's digital positioning to enhance engagement and invite Class A talent

Incentivization:Administer the company's annual incentivization program and lead employee assessment and feedback processes

Health and Safety: Lead the Health and Safety functions across the portfolio to ensure legal compliance and a safe workplace. This includes conducting inspections, JHSC committee meetings, ensuring certifications are active and managing WSIB cases.

MOL compliance: Comply with all regulations of the MOL

Succession: Build profiles for Management positions and develop succession plans

Wellness: Support and implement wellness initiatives while promoting the business as an 'employer of choice'

Info support: Support Leadership and board information requests


Requirements:


  • CHRP Designation
  • Degree in Human Resources Management
  • 5+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills
  • Solutions driven mindset with the ability to influence
  • Excellent working knowledge of the ESA, The Code & OHSA
  • Ability to work in fastpaced, matrix environments
  • Conflict Resolution experience
  • A change agent with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborationfocused
