MEMBERSHIP AND EVENTS COORDINATOR


In the position of Membership and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all membership support and administration for a small national association, as well as assisting with coordinating meetings and events.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:


Membership

  • Tracking member renewals and engaging with lapsed members
  • Coordinating new and existing member invoicing
  • Updating the Membership page on the website as needed
  • Communicating with new/existing members as well as potential members.
  • Coordinating and onboarding new members.
  • Updating the database management system and maintaining engagement logs
  • Coordinating membership surveys, recruitment, and referral campaigns
  • Coordinating member benefits and member affinity programs
  • Assisting with maintaining memberonly web portal and events
  • Creating posts and communications, eblasts and newsletter content on membership updates, news and events
  • Measuring and tracking membership engagement, growth and retention
  • Providing reports on membership statistics and financial as required
  • Addressing queries from members related to membership renewal, invoicing, registration of events, EP courses etc.

Administrative/Events

  • Scheduling and preparing meetings
  • Creating agendas, scripts, PowerPoint presentations, memos and other supporting documentation
  • Taking Board and committee minutes where necessary
  • Assisting in the production and execution of national and chapter events
  • Supporting events logistics and marketing
  • Venue sourcing, communications (internal, external and with thirdparty contractors) and registration management
  • Coordinating speaker and instructor onboarding, communications and logistics
  • Managing online or inperson event registrations
  • Attending events and managing onsite logistics, F&B, A/V, speakers, etc.
  • Tracking revenue and costs, and assisting with final reconciliations
  • Assisting in the creation and execution of podcasts
  • Attending chapter committee meetings
  • Assisting with editing of audio and video content

Administration

  • Participating in daily calls with other staff
  • Providing technical/admin assistance as needed
  • Other duties as required
  • Combination of working from home, office and onsite at events
  • Willingness to travel if required

What we're looking for

  • 35 years of experience in a membership and/or customer relationship engagementrelated role.
  • 35 years of experience in a eventsrelated role.
  • The ability and confidence to quickly gain trust among a broad variety of stakeholders and build enduring relationships with new and existing members and partners across a vibrant national association community.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to handle and prioritize many projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and French
  • Willingness to travel as required.

What would give you an advantage

  • Experience with managing a CRM and/or building partnerships across networks.
  • A background in event planning
  • Experience with regional and/or international nonprofit organizations.
  • Fluency in French

Salary:
$45,000.00-$47,500.00 per year
