Job Summary:


The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing strategic planning initiatives to ensure optimal utilization of resources, streamline operations, and achieve organizational goals.

This role involves analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The Production Planner will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the organization by providing insights and recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with leadership to define and refine the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to ensure alignment with the overall mission.


Data Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret relevant data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and recommend improvements.


Resource Allocation:
Assess resource availability and allocate them efficiently across projects and initiatives. Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, budget, and other resources to maximize productivity.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments and teams to gather information, understand requirements, and align planning efforts. Foster effective communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.


Forecasting and Demand Planning:
Develop accurate forecasts and demand projections based on historical data and market trends. Anticipate potential supply-demand imbalances and recommend strategies to mitigate them.


Process Improvement:
Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize workflows.


Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks that could impact the successful execution of plans. Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations even in uncertain circumstances.


Reporting and Documentation:

Create detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate planning strategies, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.


Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences. Incorporate market insights into planning efforts to maintain competitiveness.


Performance Metrics:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of planning initiatives. Regularly monitor and assess progress toward goals, making adjustments as needed.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field.

3 years experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, and process improvement.

Proficiency in using planning software, data analysis tools, and project management platforms.

Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
