Fortin's is a local, family owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products, and are a part of Home Hardware. Fortin's currently has stores in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Vedder and Hope.


We are currently seeking an
energetic and
self-motivated individual to fill a part-time Marketing Coordinator position in Chilliwack at our Airport Road location.


The Marketing Coordinator is the primary for:

  • Creating marketing material
  • Publishing marketing material
  • Creating content for social media
  • Scheduling/planning content for social media
  • Posting on social media platforms
  • Running contests on social media

Secondary:


  • Internal and external company events

Required Skills:


  • Experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop an asset
  • Creating flyers or other marketing material
  • Knowledge of posting on social media in various ways


This position is about 20 hours a week, sometimes a little more is required to meet deadlines, flexible on the days and hours, but found 4 hrs a day Monday-Friday work well.


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager/Sales Analyst for guidelines and support.
