The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (ASOS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
As a health service provider, ASOS offers a wide range of programs and services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals living with dementia, their care partners, and healthcare.
Chief Executive Officer
Reporting to the ASOS Board of Directors through the President, the CEO will demonstrate transformational leadership with a dedication to service excellence and innovation.
The CEO will possess political savvy and excellent communication skills to ensure they remain an effective champion for all ASOS stakeholders and constituencies.
Their strong financial acumen, change, relationship and leadership skills will allow them to leadASOS's resources by executing successful strategic and operational planning, human resources management, advocacy and communications.
Hallmarks of success will be predicated on the incumbent's ability to develop positive relationships and partnerships that will allow them to influence and advance ASOS's strategic initiatives and steward day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities will include increasing ASOS's outreach to community stakeholders to build awareness, raise funds and develop strong relationships between with community partners, including high net worth individuals interested in supporting the Alzheimer Society.
In addition to their genuine passion for the mission of ASOS, the new CEO's preparation for this role likely includes:post secondary education in finance, commerce, public health, gerontology, social work, health or business administration or a combination of education and related experience.
5+ years progressive senior leadership experience, ideally in a health related, community service- oriented not-for-profit environment leading multi-disciplinary teams.
experience with community relations and fund development.
highly developed skills in board governance and reporting, strategic planning, annual business plans, financial management, and revenue development.
proven success building, leading, coaching and retaining high performing teams within a dementia care setting would be highly desirable.
demonstrated ability to successfully create, manage and develop diverse stakeholder relationships with patients, families, staff, donors, community partners and government.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Regina, SK S4P 3X1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
