Field Service Technician - Trainee

The Field Service Technician Trainee is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the mechanical field.


As a Field Service Technician Trainee, you will be providing great customer service while you learn how to install and repair single and multi-functional office equipment and supporting software systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, repair and maintain Singlefunction / Multifunctional and company products and systems at customer sites
  • Performing equipment service on a required basis within specific time parameters
  • Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Completing preventative maintenance according to regular schedules
  • Maintaining all Company tools and materials, including an accurate inventory of parts
  • Communicating with the Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service
  • Completing required service and equipment performance reports as required
  • Comply with established operational standards

To Succeed, You Will Need:


  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with network connectivity is an asset
  • Post secondary technical/technologist course in electronics preferred
  • Customer Service aptitude
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certification is an asset
  • Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Some travel outside of your region will be required occasionally
