As an Air Freight Pricing Analyst at DHL, you excel at connecting people and businesses to grow the Air products and services. You are experienced in the Freight Forwarding Industry, specifically in Air Freight industry. You know how to leverage the latest technology to build your networks more effectively. As a member of the Air Freight Product team, you will help drive the growth Strategy through collaboration with Sales and Operations teams. IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

Focus on the efficient, qualified, and timely issuance of Air Freight pricing in order to increase market share and improve the quote success performance
Identify the most suitable airfreight services in terms of transit time, routing, cost and provider to fit customer and shipment specific requirements
Utilize your knowledge of current market conditions to implement strategic pricing
Participate in the submission of global bids and local pricing requests
Gain customer support and trust
Follow up and negotiation of pricing submission
Analyze quotes using the various reporting tools available
Liaison with trade lane, sales & product to identify opportunities
Liaison between product, stations and regional bid team

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3-5 years in freight forwarding industry with proven satisfactory track record, operational &/or sales experience.
Strong communicative, highly analytical, & administrative skills.
Team player with strong sense of urgency
Customer service oriented
Knowledge of airfreight carriers and market an asset
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to identify and prioritize key strategic
CIFFA and/or CITT graduate an asset
Community College or University graduate preferred
