Job Description:


The Head of Commercial Operations team works across Galderma's 3 business units (Aesthetics Injectables, Therapeutic Dermatology and Dermo-Cosmetics), and partners with both the Regional Head of Strategy & Commercial Excellence and the Regional Head of Cluster CommOps to build the right commercial skills, tools, and processes to be implemented the at local level in order to deliver the desired value proposition to Galderma's customers.

This role will report to the General Manager of Canada and will be supported by the Regional Heads to develop the country strategy based in line with the global direction and ensure country execution with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide country input to all Regional Comm Ops initiatives by providing insights from country and cluster Comm Ops head
  • Lead the implementation of the Global harmonized Profiling, Segmentation and Targeting framework, working GM, Business Units and leveraging the regional cluster
  • Provide country insights of the SIP to the Regional and Global team and work with the Business Units during the implementation of the SIP across the country
  • Define and establish a harmonized Canadian Cycle Planning Calendar to be followed in alignment with Global Comm Ops
  • Provide ongoing Insights for Canada on Sales Effectiveness, informing the Regional Commercial Excellence on KPI performance metrics and the implementation/optimization of new capabilities
  • Harmonize roles and responsibilities of field/territory teams, such as sales representatives, first line managers and key account managers in alignment with Global Roadmap
  • Establish a Global Key Account Management approach, including key account plan and review, resource prioritization, negotiation approach, engagement plan
  • Lead the country adaptation of the Global Sales Academy curriculum, encompassing Product Training, Selling Skills, Key Account skills and ensure implementation across Business Units
  • Support the Country/Cluster teams throughout the Annual Brand Planning Process
  • Develop and oversee the implementation and reporting of county metrics of performance, identifying trends / best practices and areas of optimization
  • Management of three (3) analysists for Commercial Excellence, Commercial Effectiveness and Commercial Data, Analytics, and Intelligence
  • Budget and forecasting responsibilities for the department
Skills & Qualifications

  • University Degree in Business Management or Mathematics. Advanced studies in Data & Analytics are preferrable.
  • Experience in Commercial Sales, Commercial Excellence, SFE Analytics, in an international pharma/consumer goods company,
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze CRM data, interpret SFE information and trends to develop actionable insights and recommendations
  • Successful track record in defining and embedding salesforce effectiveness capabilities
  • Experienced in working cross functionally to implement corporate processes such as Annual Brand Plan, supporting global, regional, and country teams to deliver effectively
  • Strong Business Acumen understands both the markets, brands, and broader context (internal and external) of the business
  • Ability to translate analytical insights and findings into realistic, actionable recommendations
