The Associate Corporate Trust Officer Internship assists the Corporate Trust Officer with the set-up, administration, and client service relationship of Corporate Trust business to ensure client compliance with covenants in all types of Corporate Trust mandates and offers additional support to the Corporate Trust management team.


Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide the Corporate Trust department with all technical and administrative support for various types of files, including escrows, warrants, subscription receipts, P3 administration and warrant exercises/expiries.
  • Research related matters (i.e., general inquiries from investors and issuers or other categories of clients, legacy files).
  • Assist department in connection with billings, closings, mailings, etc.
  • Researching aged receivables, billing corrections and other related items
  • Assist with team office projects as requested by management
  • Provide general administrative support to members of the Corporate Trust department, as required.

We are looking for somebody with a real passion for learning and growing in the area of Trust Services.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Pursuing a University degree or College diploma
  • Interest in legal, securities, or financial industry.

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise good judgment
