Job Description:

As an Apprentice Electrician with Kicking Horse Electrical, you will assist an electrician while learninghow to perform the duties independently. The duties will include:

• Installing, replacing, and repairing electrical systems and panel boxes in commercial andresidential buildings
• Installing power generation, standby power generation, and power conditioning systems.
• Installing surface mount and/or overhead cables, as well as underground wiring and cables.
• Grounding and bonding electrical equipment, systems, and structures, including swimmingpools and hot tubs.
• Testing and measuring voltage, loads, ground faults, and the integrity of circuits.

Splicing, joining, and connecting wires as needed.

• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, contributing positively to group dynamics.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Mileage reports to be submitted

Education & Experience:

• oCompletion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Completion of one or two year apprenticeship program is an asset.
• Driver's license is mandatory

$26/hour ( Can be discussed depending on expeirence)
