Technical Sales Executive
Member of the Commercial Team
Located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The
Technical Sales Executive generates and qualifies leads that buy Neo-Pure systems. Once a lead is qualified, you will partner with our Commercial Team to sell systems to food processors. This position will reach out to leads, set up meetings, present our products, with the intent to sell systems. To generate new leads, you will attend conferences, tradeshows, and networking events. You will build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, making yourself available to manage inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers by networking, cold calling, meetings, or other means of generating interest from potential customers that successfully convert into system sales.
  • Complete initial marketing presentation to potential prospects.
  • Creates strong value propositions, initial proposals, and quotes.
  • Works to qualify leads to prospects based on required qualifying criteria.
  • Focused on selling existing products to markets that we have already entered.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to sell systems once leads are qualified.

Qualifications:


  • University or College degree in biology, engineering, chemistry, or another technical field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience acquiring new customers in food equipment, heavy machinery, or food industry in general.
  • Knowledge of food safety, equipment, and chemicals is preferred.
  • Must have a valid passport and drivers license to travel in the United States.
  • Able to travel to the United States and internationally (30% 50% of the time).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong selling and negotiating skills. Able to overcome customer objections.
  • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external).
  • Sound presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories around technical data and presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization.
  • Must have excellent Power Point and Excel skills.
  • Desire and aptitude to learn technical product features.

Job Types:

$85,000.00 per year
