Description
Western Maritime Institute is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join its growing admissions team. This position is performed on-site, full-time at our Ladysmith Campus. Occasional travel may be required.


As an
Admissions Advisor, you will be contributing to the growth of our student enrolment by managing leads and personally developing your pipeline by supporting, interviewing, and encouraging qualified students to study at Western Maritime Institute.

You will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions and registration process.


Reporting to the Office Manager and under the supervision of the Admissions Team Leader, the Admissions Advisor is responsible for promoting and educating prospective students on WMI program offerings, complete enrolments and provide exemplary customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students
  • Meet and exceed enrollment targets
  • Conduct both inperson and virtual info sessions on program offerings
  • Actively involved in recruitment activities such as call campaigns, responding to student inquiries, enrollment and marketing activities
  • Work as team player with fellow staff members to optimize productivity
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the recruiting, registration, and enrollment process.
  • Utilizing and reviewing materials regularly such as program curriculum, information package and printed materials and admission reports to ensure that all information given is accurate
  • Maintaining contact/rapport with students to monitor their progress during their program; practices "open door policy"
  • Provide reports to the Senior Management team regularly.

  • Teamwork oriented and the ability to work under pressure

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $40,000.00 per year
