    Position Summary:

    The DistanceEducation Marketing Coordinator works to facilitate the marketing and promotionof GBCTech Training courses andits College partners. The role includes assisting in the development ofmarketing and recruitment plans for GBC Tech Training and partner organizations'online technical training programs. These activities include developing,implementing, and evaluating marketing and sales strategies, campaigns,corporate leads, generate individual student leads and produce studentregistrations.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Creates and customizes plans for GBC Tech Training and for each partner college's needs to assist with business development and generation of leads, based on understanding of digital marketing (, website analytics, Google Analytics, SEO, PPC); monitors key KPIs using CRM system tracking, analyzes results and makes recommendations to
  • Manager using data-driven decision making.
  • Manages relationships and liaises on behalf of George Brown College to deliver online courses through partner colleges. Ensures that requirements are executed according to contract.
  • Coordinates and resolves problems related to administrative activities for the delivery and support of online courses including tracking participation using CRM and preparing reports on enrollment used for invoicing partners and providing guidance to partner colleges for their recruitment strategies.
  • Develops brochures, partner and supporting websites as part of the GBC Tech Training web ecosystem; creates content, ensures accuracy of information, and maintains updates using Drupal; works with external service provider for posting information.
  • Coordinates admin, technical and tutorial support requirements of GBC Tech Training and partner colleges.
  • Conducts training of and day-to-day management of co-op students ensuring the implementation/monitoring of marketing activities.
  • Oversees third-party supplier relationships ensuring the implementation and maintenance of marketing assets and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Educationaland Experience Requirements:

  • Three-year diploma/degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience working in a marketing or digital marketing field, preferably with online / distance education programs.
  • Experience in partnership management and corporate relationship building.
  • Digital marketing experience required, including website maintenance (Drupal / Wordpress), social media management, google analytics, adwords, SEO and PPC.
  • Experience in content development, including blog writing, social posts, website copy, marketing collateral, landing pages, etc.
  • Experience in tracking and analyzing online marketing campaigns, lead generation effectiveness, ROI and providing recommendations based on data insights.
  • Experience using CRM to track and coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives. Customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation would be an asset.
