EHN Willowview Recovery Centre a new 60-bed inpatient addictions treatment facility, located about 20 minutes northwest of Regina and will provide adults 18 and older with holistic, wrap-around inpatient addictions treatment for up to 16 weeks.

The Admissions Team Lead performs a variety of duties to ensure the admissions department performs at optimal efficiency.

The team lead ensures processes are performed properly, facilitates the admission approval process, assists Admissions Coordinators with complex client needs, and audits files to verify that Admissions Coordinators are working in accordance with the company rules, regulations, and expectations.

They maintain a presence on call center floor to assist in escalated questions, complaints, technology errors, scheduling delays.


The Admissions Team Lead also works closely with a variety of EHN stakeholders to ensure a proper and efficient admissions process.


Functions and Duties

  • Manage, organize and prioritize daytoday Admission Team activities, staffing and resource utilization
  • Function as an expert operational resource for the team
  • Facilitate individual and interdisciplinary team teamwork and effective work process
  • Provide leadership in implementing best practices and supporting peers with process change
  • Facilitate staff orientation/onboarding and identify staff learning needs and appropriate resources
  • Liaise with all internal departments and external community providers to facilitate patient transitions
  • Coordinates staff schedules for Admissions Counselors
  • Lead/facilitate team training when necessary to achieve unit goals & objectives
  • Awareness and a good understanding of the principles/protocols that govern health and safety issues
  • Participates in all educational endeavors of the facility and helps to develop, implement and evaluate department's Quality Improvement activities
  • Conducts administrative duties as assigned, including CRM/EHR analysis/reporting, wait lists, staffing levels, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

_ Will work primarily days but must be willing to work evenings, weekends and on-call__. Understands that this support role may require adjustment of hours in relation to business needs._**
Qualifications/Professional Attributes:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the Admissions Coordinator role
