Role:
Project Coordinator (Full Time)

Experience: 2+ years (in current role)

Education:
Post Secondary Education in a related role

Certification:
encouraged to work towards Gold Seal

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of

Project Coordinator:

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist with the setup and of start projects including coordination with building departments, government regulatory bodies, engineers, architects, and other consultants
  • Assist as required in the preparation and review of all construction cost reports and forecasts looking for early warning signs of potential risk and developing effective plans to overcome/mitigate.
  • Participate in various project/site meetings.
  • Main point of contact throughout the project for all submittals and coordination duties
  • Assist with client billings, approvals and expedite change order approvals

Secondary Functions:

  • Participate in growth and training opportunities for themselves
  • Be actively involved in project, company and local community programs
  • Other Duties as assigned

Key Competencies:

  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 30+ subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

$36,283.67-$72,112.75 per year
