    The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for:

    • Contribute to the success of the company by finding the best suppliers and managing purchasing activities.
    • Create value for shareholders and internal customers through effective category management strategies.
    • Act as a true business partner in the management of purchasing categories, associate with industry leaders to influence procurement and spending decisions.
    • Maximize collaboration through the use of SAP and Ariba, improve internal processes.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and monitor when required.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    ">
    • A Bachelor's degree in administration or other related fields.
    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field of purchasing.
    • Bilingualism essential both orally and in writing (French/English).
    • Knowledge of Google/Windows environment, SAP, the complete Ariba suite and Power BI.
    • Ability to develop, monitor and execute multiple initiatives at once with proven success in terms of savings and service.
    • Ability to develop, implement creative negotiation strategies and strategic relationships.
