Description

The Senior Medical Secretary works closely with the clinical site team and is responsible for managing secretarial and administrative management tasks for the dermatology clinic.


This role will be perfect for you if:

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage assigned tasks at the reception;
  • Manage appointments using the computerized system: making appointments, confirmations and cancellations;
  • Prepares the clinic before the arrival of the first patients;
  • Welcome patients and visitors;
  • Perform the opening and filing of patient files;
  • Bring patients in the clinical rooms for their visit and clean the rooms between each patient;
  • Ensures the identification of patient's biological samples and followsup on required tests;
  • Manage the documents to be given to the patient at the end of the consultation and manage the payments;
  • Manage mail and packages;

Requirements:


IDEAL PROFILE

Education

  • Medical Secretary diploma or other relevant training;

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a medical secretary;

Knowledge and skills

  • Good communication skills in French and English (functional);
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Demonstrates great professionalism and is oriented towards customer service;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team;
  • Recognized for his sense of organization and his autonomy;
  • Dynamic, proactive and solutionoriented;

Work Location
This position is based at our modern and bright clinic in Montreal (3530, Boulevard St-Laurent, H2X 2V1).

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Gérer les tâches assignées à la réception ;
  • Répondre aux appels téléphoniques et prendre les messages sur la messagerie vocale ;
  • Gérer les rendezvous à l'aide du système informatisé : prise de rendezvous, confirmations et annulations ;
  • Préparer la clinique avant l'arrivée des premiers patients ;
  • Accueillir les patients et les visiteurs ;
  • Effectuer l'ouverture et le classement des dossiers des patients ;
  • Amener les patients dans les salles cliniques pour leur visite et nettoyer les salles entre chaque patient ;
  • Assurer l'identification des échantillons biologiques des patients et assurer le suivi des tests requis ;
  • Gérer les documents à remettre au pat
