Title:
Sales Assistant

Reports to:
Senior Director of Sales

Based at:
Mucci International Marketing Inc., Kingsville, ON

Type of Employment:
Full-Time, permanent, 6-days a week; Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additional hours may be required, depending on workload and priorities.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Effectively process and manage customer orders from the time they are received until the product ships, utilizing internal computer and manual tracking systems
Provide support in managing ecommerce transactions
Monitor inventory levels
Track customer orders through delivery
Ensure special customer requirements are accurate, current and noted on orders
Work effectively with sales personnel to resolve any issues or disparities regarding shipments
Implement quick decisions and problem solving in sudden and unplanned situations that can occur in produce sales and production
Provide professional customer service in a fast paced environment, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow
Represent Mucci Group in an ethical and professional manner in all interactions with growers, coworkers, suppliers and customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

College diploma in business or administrative studies is preferred
35 years experience in an administrative or sales support role with a focus on customer service and data entry
Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure, to multitask and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and I-Trade and Famous
Excellent documentation, communication, computer and time management skills.

Physical Abilities:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to deal with challenging employees and/or situations.
