About the role
We are looking for an
Intermediate Business Advisor with a focus on
business performance
analytics to join our claims
Strategy & Transformation team


As an
Intermediate
Business Advisor in our
Claims department,
you will combine data analytics and process knowledge to determine root causes of problems.

As a natural self-starter with a fine eye for detail, you will consolidate data from various sources, identify and analyze trends & present tactical solutions to support our claims operation.

This is a full-time permanent position that reports to the
Claims Manager, Strategy & Transformation.

What you'll do here:


  • Actively lead or participate in the collection, research and organization of data to summarize specific business issues or answer questions.
  • Combine data elements from multiple sources, create trends & display data in various ways with the purpose of surfacing root causes of problems.
  • Quickly understand and challenge status quo, making recommendations that result in significant improvement in business processes.
  • Clearly summarize and present information concisely to diverse audiences and levels of leadership within the organization, to obtain buyin into solutions.
  • Perform basic to indepth statistical analyses and compile results with high accuracy to clearly tell a story.
  • Contribute to the creation of detailed business plans, including thorough analysis of volume of work, resources, timelines etc.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to seek input and combine data with process information to propose well rounded tactical solutions.
  • Proactively identify new data elements that may provide further insight into performance or business trends.
  • Maintain & improve departmental suite of reporting to support operations.
  • Complete industry analytics on market trends as required.

What you'll bring to the table:


  • 4+ years of experience as an advisor, analyst etc. supporting operations in the insurance, banking or related industry.
  • STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in
    Power BI, Excel (Power Query), Sharepoint, Visio

  • Inquisitive & strategic thinker with ability to
    drive results and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent
    analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
  • Selfdriven and highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent thinking.
  • Ability to quickly pivot in an everevolving business.
