    Responsibilities

    • Promote and sell OPAL-RT solutions to academic and industrial accounts, focused on the energy sector
    • Initiate and manage complex sales cycles, including the generation and qualification of new opportunities, conduct negotiations and conclude sales at the highest level
    • Analyze, identify and implement strategies for developing new business opportunities
    • Define and execute a strategic plan to approach, access and develop new accounts
    • Prospect/cold calling towards new targeted customers
    • Develop and maintain business relationships with existing clients
    • Presentation & demonstration of products and services
    • Prepare and submit added-value-based technical and commercial proposals
    • Leverage strength of our business partners to identify the best way to contact and approach existing and potential customers
    • Participate in conferences, tradeshows, events
    • Respond to customer/prospect's requests, using all resources available inside our Organization (pre-sales, R&D, DG, etc.)

    Requirements

    • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred: electrical engineering)
    • Experience: around 5 years of experience in the Energy sector, related to technical sales and/or business development
    • Knowledge: knowledge in the field of energy: power systems and power conversion; complete management of the sales cycle (prospecting, cold calling, meeting requirements, closing); account management and growth; technical/commercial proposal writing
    • Language abilities: Understanding French is mandatory (courses will be offered if necessary to facilitate integration). Fluent English is also required for communication considering that the target clientele for this position is located in the USA and Canada.
    • Soft skills: excellent relational skills, adaptability, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, autonomy, rigor and determination
    • Ideal profile: A professional with a very high level of rigor, determination and autonomy; social and strong interest in the business development of the energy sector; loves technology; likes pressure and independence; results-oriented
    • Significant assets: Knowledge related to power systems simulation, power electronics simulation and hardware-in-the-loop; basic knowledge of the following tools: MS Office, CRM, MATLAB/Simulink
