  • POSITION OVERVIEW
The Analyst, Consultant Network provides quantitative and qualitative analytical support that influences consultant recruitment decisions and assignment workload. The Analyst is responsible for the data integrity of the national consultant network respecting BDC compliance requirements.

He/She collects and structures different databases, performs analyses, provides reports, identifies risk factors within the network, makes recommendations for decision-making and supports operations in the deployment of the CNM strategy.

The Analyst identifies and initiates continuous improvement opportunities within the CNM ecosystem (technology, process, and learning material) in support of both internal and external stakeholder needs.

The Analyst plays a pivotal role in furthering CNM's goals to embed analytics into the management of the network.

  • CHALLENGES TO BE MET
  • Design, collect and analyze Consultant Network data using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Provide key business insight in order to make business decisions that have human and financial impacts.
  • Actively participate in the design of new tools by effectively parsing data from multiple sources, analyzing, collecting, and testing data, proposing new avenues for reporting, and by helping to coordinate pilots.
  • Conduct a broad range of analysis to support Consultant Network decisionmaking such as: network skill gap analysis, segmentation, solution portfolio capacity, regional resourcing strategies, network health indicators, utilization rates, consultant turnover rate, etc.
  • Prepare detailed analyses and various weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad hoc reports including statistics, graphics, dashboards, along with presentation materials to convey trends, recommendations, insights.
  • Maintain CNM monthly and quarterly performance reports (KPI) by extracting data and ensuring data integrity.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the field for reports and analysis for specific tactical needs.
  • Maintain and improve the consultant data profile framework to enable/improve effectiveness of mandate assignment (consultant contract) decisionmaking.
  • Develop tools and frameworks to support special initiatives such as gender and diversity strategies and participate in their deployment in the field
  • Perform network management activities in collaboration with Practices: recommendations on adding/removing consultants, status changes based on performance analysis, supporting technology needs, managing consultant files, maintaining compliance requirements related to Code of conduct and IT security.
  • Proactively participate in the performance management process for network consultants: follow up on evaluations, analyze consultant performance, and support the National Coordinator, Consultant Management, and the advisory business practices.
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • A minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a consulting company or in the area of partnership or human resource management.
  • Experience with data analytics, SQL and Power BI
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field. Could consider computer sciences or economics/statistics and well as equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to move from the conceptual level to finding ways to achieve business analytical objectives.
  • Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
  • Advanced skills with Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.)
  • A skills test will be performed during the recruitment process.
  • Technical and practical knowledge of Power BI
  • A skills test will be performed during the recruitment process.
  • SQL is an asset and willingness to learn is a must.
  • Bilingualism is an asset; Must
