Primary Function:


The Warehouse Associate assists in the growth of business by performing warehouse duties and customer service functions to support inventory integrity, order processing - picking, packing, staging, and shipping, and general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for product inventory of warehouse by ensuring orders are picked, packed, shipped, received and/or put away accurately and in a timely manner following auditable guidelines
  • Assist the branch in processing orders and assisting customers
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and correct manner verifying merchandise with documents
  • Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of Grainger Courses and Training
  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure branch appearance meets Grainger standards
  • Other branch support related duties or customer service as required by business needs

Job Requirements:

Preferred Education & Experience:


  • Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent 02 years' work experience
  • Ability to work in a position requiring:
  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted on a regular basis
  • Demonstrated focus on exceptional customer service
  • Teamplayer and an ability to work independently utilizing strong communication skills
  • Ability to safely learn and operate powered industrial equipment
  • Previous warehousing experience an asset
  • Proficient computer skills and aptitude
  • Own personal development
