We are searching for a Guest Service Agent to join our Glenerin Inn and Spa team based in Mississauga, Ontario.

About the Opportunity

Greets guests and provides them with assistance and information as requested in a professional, courteous and hospitable manner;
Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Inn;
Responsible for taking dining room reservations;
Anticipates and responds to all guest issues/situations promptly and takes appropriate action to rectify concerns;
Informs guests by providing information about the hotel and the local area/city;
Responsible for balancing of their assigned cash float;
Answers internal or external phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner;
Adheres to company policies & procedures at all times;
Ensures the front lobby is tidy and free of debris;
Displays responsible behavior consistent with adherence to organization standards e.g. employee standards of conduct, policies, procedures, etc.;
Ensure that guest rooms keys are available by the designated time;
Communicates information with team members at shift change;
Performs all other related duties as assigned.

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
High School Diploma;
Strong computer and keyboarding skills;
Minimum 6 months experience in a related experience;
Experience working as a front desk attendant, or similar, in a hospitality environment;
Bilingualism, an asset.
