    The Global Procurement team are trusted business advisors who strategically partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create value and mitigate risk in strategic non-product purchases for the global organization. The team supports the business in increasing its profitability and return on investment by creating value in our indirect supply chain through sourcing and negotiation. From providing category expertise, market insights, cost savings opportunities & developing short and long-term strategies, the Global Procurement team supports the business with their supplier relationships.

    Rooted deeply within Global Procurement is a function called Procurement Strategy & Analytics. This team enables value delivery via Category Management through – spend management, value analytics, market intelligence, digital procurement, Procurement strategy & governance, Supplier Inclusion & Diversity, and sustainability. This team not only ensures the right foundation of data and process within Procurement, but they also drive alignment to important mandates and values of lululemon – Be Human, Be Well, and Be Planet.

    a day in the life

    The Manager – Strategy & Analytics (SI&D and Sustainability), in partnership with our IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action), plays a critical role in driving lululemon values into our supplier community through leadership of the Supplier Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainable Procurement pillars within Global Procurement. This role includes ownership of our global SI&D and Sustainable Procurement strategies, internal and external awareness, enrollment and communications with senior leadership and external organizations. The Manager has experience in community outreach and building or managing a supplier diversity program, has proven track record of delivering large-scale change efforts with experience influencing senior level executives, and can work in a high-growth vertically integrated global company. As part of the Strategy & Analytics tower, the Manager has a strong Procurement Analytics background and the ability to apply value analysis to enable value delivery across Procurement – whether through process or category management.

    what you'll do:

    • Continue to grow and drive SI&D pillar across global regions within lululemon.
    • Identify and maintain relationships with diverse supplier organizations.
    • Lead diverse supplier development efforts and serve as advocate in promoting business opportunities for suppliers that have been historically excluded – such as certified minority, owned, women, LGBTQ+, veteran and disability owned businesses.
    • Consistently review and pursue supplier diversity program improvements in utilization, reporting, compliance, and other program enhancements.
    • Manage the Supplier Diversity team and third-party suppliers who support the Program.
    • Identify, monitor, and report Program success metrics uncover ideas to improve metrics.
    • As part of the Global Procurement team, ensure procurement process equity unlock and ensure diverse supplier inclusion through strategic sourcing activities.
    • Create internal awareness and engagement and provide education and coaching with regard to supplier diversity-related processes, opportunities, and the strategic value associated with a diverse supplier base to Procurement team and Businesses.
    • Support development of annual procurement category planning and lead execution of SI&D efforts through collaborative and inclusive approach that delivers against global strategic priorities; translate global strategy into effective and innovative sourcing strategies.
    • Link market intelligence and value analytics to procurement strategy, sourcing strategy and category planning.
    • Participate in strategic sourcing activities – strategy development, events and supplier negotiations, with the support of others in the Procurement organization
    • Analyze spend data and other resources to identify value delivery opportunities and uncover additional insights across diversity and sustainability
    • Build, implement and own delivery of our Sustainable Procurement Strategy
    qualifications
    • 5+ years Procurement experience sourcing non product goods and services ideally across multiple global regions – EMEA, APeC, China, North America
    • 3+ years DEI experience in indirect procurement – community outreach, building and managing Supplier Diversity programs
    • Applicable DEI industry certifications, such as Certified Supplier Diversity Professional (CSDP).
    • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office), knowledge of P2P (Coupa)/Oracle a plus.
    • Ability driving large-scale change efforts with experience influencing senior level executives
    • Experience in analyzing complex data to develop insights and quickly learning and adopting new methods and processes.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Capable of balancing workload and prioritizing tasks.
    • Decisive when presented with limited data (decision-making) and result-orientation.
    • Strong ability to communicate and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels

    Compensation and Benefits Package

    lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from $107,500-$141,100 CAD annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
