We are looking for Personal Support Workers to serve seniors in their homes in Peterborough, Ontario, and the surrounding area Our clients need help with companionship, light housekeeping and their personal care needs so they can continue to thrive in their homes.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules during the day hours and every other weekend

TYPICAL TASKS include:

  • Building a meaningful relationship with a senior
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation including meals and snacks
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Running errands, possibly taking our seniors to appointments
  • Assist with changing, bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care
  • Alzheimer's Care, Hospice Care

REQUIREMENTS to be a PSW:

  • Possess a valid PSW certificate or nursing certificate
  • Ability to treat seniors with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly, congenial manner with clients and office staff
  • Have a clear vulnerable sector check and driver's abstract
  • Possess a valid driver's license and valid insurance with a reliable car
  • Have availability to serve clients during the days of the week and every other weekend

Compensation:
$18-21 per hour, plus bonuses for providing exceptional care


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
