Available Shifts:
Night shift:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Evening shift:
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Probation/Training: 3 months on the day shift, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
This position is not on a rotating shift schedule, but the selected candidate must be available to work different shifts (evening or night) as needed, on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep on all plant equipment
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Install new electrical equipment and circuits according to electrical code standards
Participate in regular equipment inspection rounds (checklists)
Assist in investigating and resolving recurring equipment issues
Follow and adhere to ISO-9001 procedures
Perform any other related duties as required
Education / Experience Required:
Electrical License C (mandatory at hire)
Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Automated Systems Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent training
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Other Requirements:
Availability to work the evening or night shifts mentioned above
Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a heat and demanding production environment
Good communication skills in French (written and spoken)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and technical drawings and make conclusions from them
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automated systems
Ability to work independently
Skills and Certifications:
Possession of an electrical license C
Diploma (DEP) in eletromechanics, Automated systems, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles
Ideal Candidate
Multicrafting professional with experience in the field, including exposure to welding, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. An Electrical License C is mandatory.
